Depending on the cat and previous diet, the transition should happen over at least 7 to 10 days. On the first day, it is recommended to blend only 10-15%. The next day, increase this to 20-25%, and continue slowly increasing the new food until you achieve a 50-50 mix. Feed this ratio to your kitty for 1-2 days and then adjust the ratios to 75% Elite and 25% of the old food. Keep that 75%-25% ratio for 1-2 more days before switching to 100% new food.

Feeding Instructions:

The recommended serving is 60-65 grams for an adult cat and 30-35 grams for a kitten. Cats can have this food a couple of times a day.

1 level tablespoon = roughly 15-20 grams, so that’s 3-5 tbsp for adult cats and 2-3 tbsp for young kittens.

Storage:

Elite is a canned wet cat food, so if it’s not stored properly, it may spoil.
