In accordance with the Finance Act, 2025, a withholding sales tax and income tax of 2% each on the COD value (wherever applicable) will be applied and deposited through Courier Companies, as all associated responsibilities, liabilities, and obligations whether contractual, tax-related, or otherwise shall rest with Courier Companies. Therefore all consignments having mode of payment as COD will be charged 4% on total COD amount.
